Our team consists of a Principal Valuer, Senior Valuers, and Consultant Valuers boasting over 100 years of combined experience. Additionally, we have dedicated members handling office support, accounts and administration.

Our Team
Mark Ellis
Mark is the founding member and the Principal Valuer of Independent Property Valuations. Mark excels in leveraging his expertise across an array of valuation scenarios including litigation, compulsory acquisition, and easement compensation assessments. His skill base is across a broad range of property types including commercial, industrial, rural and residential. Mark’s expertise is highly sought in litigation matters both as an advisor and expert witness.
Paul Green
Paul has over 15 years experience in the property industry with extensive experience in a broad range of valuation matters including commercial, industrial, rural, residential, retail valuation assignments, compulsory acquisition matters, dispute resolution, land tax objections, easement compensation assessments, development feasibility, litigation and family law assignments.
Tony Galati
Tony has broad skills covering the residential, commercial and industrial property spectrum and has a preference for specialisation in family law matters. Tony provides prompt efficient service in these matters and attends mediation and arbitration, as well as attending court as an expert witness.
Catherine Ellis
Originally from a Quality Assurance background Catherine has been with the company since 2007 and oversees the accounts payable and receivables workings of the company.
Catherine has built up relationships with many of our clients and enjoys using her eye for detail in the day to day running of the company and plays a pivotal role in the administering our accounting software and accounting procedures.
Craig Barrett
Craig has over 24 years’ experience as a real estate valuer in commercial, retail, industrial, agribusiness and residential property valuations for compulsory acquisition matters, financial reporting purposes, rent review and determinations, an expert witness for family law matters, purchase and disposal consultancy and mortgage finance including going concern valuations.
Chris Seddon
Chris brings her strong administration and client services skills to the team. Thriving on clear communication, quick responses and ensuring our clients not only receive accurate valuations but feel genuinely appreciated. In a fast paced-industry Chris adds her friendly and personable touch to detailed tasks whilst fostering positive relationships that contribute to the smooth operation and excellent reputation of our company.

Kelly has worked in an administration capacity for many years. Kelly’s methodical approach provides customers with consistency, efficiency, and confidence in her work. Kelly is very approachable and builds ongoing rapport with customers. Kelly constantly goes above and beyond to guarantee customer satisfaction whilst ensuring open communication between all stakeholders.
